Jeff Howard

Jeff Howard, from Charleston, South Carolina, began acting at 15, performing in local theater and doing regional commercials. While earning his film degree at the University of South Carolina, he started landing co-star roles, national commercials, and a CBS movie of the week. In 2006, after graduating, Jeff moved to LA, where he has since appeared in dozens of national commercials and guest-starred on TV comedies like Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 2 Broke Girls, and Happy Endings, with a breakout role as ‘Fat Cuz’ on Workaholics. His dramatic roles include Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, Stalker, and recurring on Sons of Anarchy

In addition to over 25 years of acting, Jeff has expanded into writing and producing. He and his writing partner, BJ, have written movies for companies like Spyglass and Artists Road and have partnered with the prominent production company Counterbalance and Sony Studios on projects currently in development. As co-owner of Big Smits Entertainment, Jeff has pitched to major networks and studios, building relationships with top industry professionals.

Now, Jeff is passionate about mentoring aspiring actors and writers, offering a no bull shit approach to giving advice from someone still actively working in the business. His goal is to help others navigate the industry, drawing on his extensive experience and ongoing work in acting, writing, and producing.
